We’re all called to do our part. Be a part of the change. Pick up that piece of trash you walk by when your walking into the grocery store. Go outside. Clean your ditch and if your neighbor can’t, love thy neighbor and clean their ditch. You never know, a bird might thank you for it. Recycle if possible. Clean up every chance you get. Carry a small package of gloves in your trunk for picking up trash when you’re out and about. Maybe even throw in a couple of grocery bags for when there isn’t a trash can at your disposal. We all have a few of those to spare! Get the family involved. Talk with your children about the importance of having clean water and a clean earth. We cannot sit idle any longer and watch as trash pollutes our waterways. We have to set ourselves up to a higher standard. We can do better than we have been. The water belongs to all of us. It is our responsibility to keep it clean. Together we can do this. Always ask yourself if you could do more. If you can, do it.
